PostSubject: Real or lucid dreams?   Fri Sep 28, 2012 12:52 pm

I have had two rather interesting experiences this week. But, I am not certain if they are real or part of a lucid dream.

The first one was day before yesterday, in the wee hours of the morning. This is very real, very vivid. I hear a phone ring and when I answer, a voice I recognize says, "Hi Kathy, this is Ruth. Ruth is my deceased step mother. She asked how I was, I told her. I asked how she was but I don't remember what she said. She then said your Dad really wants to talk to you. I said I had communicated with him, but I was not to do it often because he needed to concentrate on his healing and progression. She said that he really wanted to talk with me. I awoke fully at that point.

Even though it was a phone call, we were speaking face to face. Ruth used the phone to get my attention, I believe.

The second time, I know I was awake for the first part. I heard faint whispering and then it sounded like my calcium or fish oil bottles being shaken(I tested it this morning and that is the exact sound). These are in the kitchen. It sounded nothing like the dog's claws on the plastic in their crates.

This went on for a few minutes. I telepathically asked whoever it was to come in my room and move something on my dresser or my computer desk. Nothing happened, and I might have dozed. Then my clock radio came on very quietly - it is not set and if it is set, it is set to buzzer. I reached over and turned it off. Then I get a flash of an Irish harp (my spirit Emily's symbol) and hear a short bit of harp playing. I went to sleep then.

I checked the clock and it's still all off.

They both were very real, not at all dreamlike. The first experience is the only sleep thing I remember all week. I have been seeing more shadow activity lately as well. I have not tried to meditate or communicate because of the clutter in my mind. Very strange experiences. Maybe I'm opening up again!!

Sounds like a psychic communication event to me. possibly you entered the astral plane while asleep. it is believed by many psychics as well as old world religious beliefs that as we dream our bodies relax enough to allow our spirits to leave our bodies and go on little adventures in the astral realms or possibly a seperate dream realm. here we encounter other dreamers, we may walk through the streets of the real waking world in spirit form but to us it still looks like a dream, and everyone elses dreams will be visible and shift into ours and ours into theirs, which explains the constant shifting of dreams.

as for the shadows, keep an eye on those. they typically arent good to have around especially if they make you feel bad in any way or you feel sick at all or drained or scared. but unless you know where they are coming from theres a chance gettin rid of it will only leave a vaccuum for more to fill.

Thanks Ussula! I reread what I wrote, and neglected to mention that my step mom passed at the first of this year, my Dad passed in 1999. The shadows have been here - we are quite comfortable with them being here. They are the spirits who live with us. We want them to stay around if they want to.

alrighty so long aS they arent harmful and you dont feel threatyened or afraid in any way then thats fine. its just that one has to be very careful with spirits appearing as complete shadows because shadow people are very evil and demons might appear as shadows and dark energy in general may appear as shadows. but such dark energy also FEELS dark...so if bad things arent happening with no reasonable expolaination and nothing scary is goin on then youre prolly alright. its possible that you see these ghosts as dark shadows because thats the only color or shade you personally could see them in.
