Body, Soul, and Spirit

I am repostiing this for newbies and perhaps open some new discussions. LucindaI feel was referring to I Thessalonians 5:23-....I pray God your whole spirit and soul, and body be preserved blameless...


From Lucinda's Journal, dated 2 June 1954 (the following was written in the
margin of one of the pages)
My hypothesis on just what are spirits:

As humans we are made up of 3 parts, body, soul, spirit. The body goes back to
dust, the soul goes to God for judgment, and the spirit is left to choose its
course. I believe the spirit/Ghosts ( I personally do not care for the word
ghosts) stays in the realm of the living. They are all around us, some may
choose to stay with the family they love, or go to a place that is special to
them when they were alive. These spirits are what we see as mists, apparitions,
shadows.**
These spirits are in this realm to comfort, watch over us, bring messages. I
think that little voice we hear at times that tells us not to do something or to
do something is the voice of a departed love one who is watching over us much as
our guardian angel watches over us.

I do not believe spirits ever take the form of orbs which is a very popular idea
presently

Being raised Catholic I always had a hard time wondering why I saw what I did.
When I first read this a while back it just clicked with me and provided a deeper understanding.

Topper, I debated whether to repost this or not as I did not want to bore people, but I thought there might be some who would see it for the first time and give it some serious thought.
