Do you feel it? Empty
PostSubject: Do you feel it?   Do you feel it? EmptyTue Jul 26, 2011 9:35 pm

Ok, so I find myself often saying something along the lines of "oohh! This has something attached to it! Do you feel it?" Only to have most of the people I'm talking to stare at me like what are you talking about? Lol

The most recent time I had this happen to me was when I was at my friends house yesterday. She was telling me about a raised picture she had gotten from Thailand (her mom is Thai). She showed it to me and then took it off of the top of the bookshelf and walked past me with it. When the picture went by me I went "OOHH!! That's got some energies with it! Do you feel it-Was it blessed?" Her: *confused look* "Was what blessed?" Lol. The picture had a protective energy on it. It was of three Thai Goddesses and called the three sisters. I told her it belonged over her hearth (she doesn't have a fireplace but it was about as close as it could be in the location where she had it in the living room) and that it will help give a feeling of protection and stability to those around it.

It made me wonder if it was blessed before she bought it, if someone else had owned it (or the artist) had subconsciously put this feeling in with the picture.

Do you guys ever walk by or touch something and just -feel- like something extra is there?

I had to think hard but ya I have. My favorite spiritual shop had cut and polished stone spheres. One of these I was drawn to and felt like I had to have it and I just wanted to hold it and not be separated from it. Leaving the store without it was like having your heart broken. I went back several times to see if I was crazy it always had the same affect. I finally had to stop going for awhile because I felt so rediculous. Several months later I went back and thank goodness it gone. Besides there's no way I'm paying hundreds of dollars for a rock. LOL Haven't felt anything like that again.

That happens when I start really looking at museum items and antiques. We were at a place called Spring Mill(I think it's called)) many years ago, that has a mini museum with artifacts from the owners and residents. I could feel strong energies coming from the stuff - I just didn't realize what it was. I had the same experience at the Smithsonian and our own museum here. I wonder what I would feel if I had actually touched the items? Most everything was behind glass. Yikes!

A famous antique store here had the same affect on me, but I could also feel the spirit energy as we pulled into the parking lot. It had been a school and there was a murder or suicide - don't remember which right off - the head master and a student still walk the halls. I am certain someone was walking along with us. I was very glad to leave that day. Knowing what I know now, I think I would recognize the feelings and not be creeped out. It is a documented haunted location - I did not know that until last October when I started researching this.

Even the antiques hall at the state fair has this affect on me. Weird.

@Sharra-I think it's interesting that you've had that response with rocks as well. I do that with some but I adore rocks, as you probaly know by now. Embarassed Sometimes I'm not sure if the attachment (the feeling of being drawn to them like you had) to certain rocks for me is because the love of rocks being in my family, or if maybe I lived by the quarry they were from in a past life. If you could remember the type of rock and maybe find where it was indigenous to then it'd be interesting if you felt a draw to that location as well?

@OTB-Ahh. Good ole antique stores. I love them. I go in there and it's almost like a VIP walking into a room because I can see, feel and hear what the spirits sometimes. It's almost a hey!! She can see us!! -stampede- hehe.

I'd be interested to know if the feeling you got in the parking lot would still be categorized as something that would creep you out. I think maybe it bothered you where you knew the history, but now that you have experienced more the feeling might convey over as something else. Sadness that it happened? Confusion as to why they weren't able to go home (or anywhere else)? Or maybe even a hey, look! Someone who can tell we're here!! Often times people associate ALL things unknown with uneasiness even if the situation isn't a negative one.

Well, we visited the store 25 years ago. I did not know the history at that time - I just found that out in October when I started researching this. I also was not really aware of my abilities at that time. I am not sure what made me feel so weird - maybe it was all of the residual energy hitting me at once. I just know I felt spooked. I don't really know. The store is several stories crammed full of all kinds of antiques. I do know I felt someone walking behind us and the farther we went the weirder I felt. I just didn't know what I was experiencing - I would now.

By the time we got to the children's floor(that floor bothered me the most) I was overwhelmed and just like I get now - tingly and goosepimply. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. After we pulled away, the feeling subsided. Knowing what I know now, I think I would feel fine ( just tingly) and not be bothered. I think it would be cool to go back and see if I can feel or see the spirits.

Oohh ok, well I'm glad you didn't know about the mishap that happened there when you went or I'm sure you would have been out of there even quicker! Maybe even with trails of dust behind you [monster] Lol Razz

It sounds like it'd be a interesting place to visit again. I like to go to my local antique stores occasionally just to experience the interaction with the residual memories and the spirits that sometimes hang out there. I have to limit how many times I go though as I often don't buy anything and the people usually look at me like why are you here if you're not going to purchase anything Suspect There is one antique store that the lady who owned it seemed really friendly so I told her I was the leader of a paranormal investigations group. She then started telling me stories of the alarm that beeps when people go in and out of the door going off when there was no one around. Hearing doors open that were locked and when she'd go look they'd be locked shut still. Foot steps, voices, etc. I told her we would be happy to go investigate if she'd let us and she seemed opened to the idea. I checked in with her later and she said that we could do it later but that it was too busy then. I haven't talked to her in a while because I don't want to be pushy. Maybe it's about time for another visit in. Smile

I think it was red Jasper. I been having some interesting issues with rocks. I have been trying to wear Amethyst and it's making me sick.Cleansed it blessed it both ways several times. Tried other types of cleansing too. When I wear them I feel like I've drank 5 gallons of coffee, energy buzz, upset stomach and head aches. I also bought some rocks from a shop. When I held them in my hand it felt like they were giving off an energy vibration my hand started to go numb and stayed numb for about 5 mins. I love rocks but I've never felt these things before any thoughts?

Question: How have you felt physically and emotioally. The reason I ask is that I have been really jittery for like the last month. Tons of usless nervous energy, couldn't sleep, up and down all night long, all my crystals and rocks were vibrating, making my hands numb and made me feel like I had motion sickness. After the earthquake everything got peaceful, I feel better, crystals and rocks aren't bothering me and no more jitters. This happened before about 2 weeks before Osama was killed. After the news was released everything was peaceful again. I had also been seeing 911 alot, three days before the quake that was almost the only # I saw. Perhaps an early warning system "Please Stay Tuned For Further Announcements" hahaha If that is what it is, the only thing I would wish for is the ability to know where and when. I'll work on that. Very Happy

It happened again this year. The antiques hall is just across the way from hubby's leathercraft displays(he judges it and we do the display). Anyway, I love to look, but only about a minute in, I got that tingly feeling. The clothing and the children's toys were the strongest(I even got a bit quesy at the toys). Maybe because these items were the most personal things there. I looked at most of the stuff, then we went to the baked goods next store. It was about 5 mins. or so before I felt normal again. This is so weird!!
