| I am so done with winter!! Yesterday was so gorgeous here. It was 59 and full sun. We will have more bad weather before it's all said and done, tho. Usually by the end of April we are in the mid to upper 60's, but sometimes we still have frost. By mothe'rs day it feels like early summer. Usually. This has been a horrible winter. | |

| I am a earth sign so naturally I'm drawn to winter. Even though I like winter I do get sick of shoveling I've got to say that I'm looking forward to spring. Yesterday was the first day in a few months that not only was I able to turn off the heater but I opened some windows. The fresh air was very refreshing. | |

| I don't mind winter, usually. We usually only have two or three smallish snows in a winter. This year it has snowed every other day since Thanksgiving! Most have not been big ones, but it has been so cold. The ice doesn't melt. And people drive like maniacs! After the first big snow we had a guy that was driving like normal down my road. The speed is supposed to 20 mph, but most go 40 or 50 mph. Anyway, he tried to make a turn onto the cross street and ended up as part of the telephone pole! How stupid is that to drive 40 mph when the road is completely covered in thick ice! Unbelievable. | |

| It's insane, I'll agree. People need to learn how to drive in the snow. That is one thing I like about Utah. We get enough that most people are forced to learn to drive in it. | |

| Ours will probably start peeking out in about two weeks. Spring can't be too far away - Walmart is getting their garden center ready! My husband is chomping at the bit! LOL We had a nice start to our garden last year. Until the rabbits ate all of the peppers and leafy stuff! That was disheartening. Peppers are expensive to buy. It's going to be 64 today and 70 tomorrow. March is yet to come, but I will enjoy the warm days we get now.
Oh, BTW, we lived in Greensboro for 8 months, 33 years ago. Hubby was transferred there and transferred back to KY again. That was tough with a newborn. NC is a beautiful state. | |
