| I know Spring is here. The door - to -door soliciting has begun. I have had to put a no soliciting sign on the door again this year. The offenders are even listed on it. Some days we have 5 or 6 different people selling or looking for their next job! I know we need windows, the stump in the front yard needs to go, our driveway could use retopping, someone feels I need several magazines, I'll just die without some candy, and that I will go to hell if I don't listen to their preaching. YEESH!!. All the while the dogs are going crazy! And our lunch is burning! AAAHHHH!!! I have a hard enough time getting stuff done without answering the door a million times a day to boot.
The funny thing is, they all think that no soliciting does not apply to them. I had two ignore it on Friday! A tree guy and window guy! (they're the worst). I hate to be this way, I am a nice person, but they are so disruptive and occasionally rude.
Do you all have this problem, too?

He He! Trust me, even tho I've lost a little weight, even construction guys would run screaming - my eyes, my eyes! They've been burned and blinded!! AAAHHH!!!! Under any circumstances a 56 yr. old body would not be considered attractive. LOL

| Yep, men are different creatures for sure! There are men who like pleasanly plump. I don't think hubby would like the idea very much, tho. Shoot, I don't even get into a bathing suit anymore - definitely not attractive. Oh well, It was either eat or drink for years (to maintain my sanity) - I chose food. LOL. Anywho - I'm really not that type of person. | |

Ya know, cookies would be nice. LOL. Do they think we're made of money? If it was once in a while, I would not mind talking to these people, but all the way until Halloween it is constant. Some days we have as many as 6 different people! I got rid of my landline so I don't have that problem anymore, but the rest - YIKES! And some keep coming back - I see you haven't cut that tree down yet, etc... I think they just can't read! I know from working retail so many years, people really do not read signs. Oh well, I've gotten to the point I don't answer the door.
