I found out who Robert is.

Don't fuss. I know I need to trust that my contact was real. I initiated contact with Emily this morning. I saw the harp symbol. And she answered some questions. I asked her if Robert was there with her. She let him come through and we spoke. I asked him what his Mother's name was - it was correct (first name). Emily gave me a last name, but I can't remember right off if it is my Grandmother's maiden name.

He said he was my father and he was sorry. I asked him sorry for what and he said life. I asked him to show me something that I would know and he showed me Lake Michigan, a motor boat, and cinnamon bread. Meaningful. I said I forgave him, I know now that he was sick. I asked if I could call him Dad, he said yes. Before I ended it, I asked again why he wanted to speak to me - he said sorry again.

How can I be sure it's not my own thoughts creating the answers in this case? I have talked extensively about it the last few days. I did not feel emotional. It felt the same as previous contacts. I'm unsure.

Well where it is closer to home I can see why you would worry that. You need to not doubt what's happening. You sound like you are having the issues I had with choosing what was right when I was pregnant. I knew what I felt, I knew it to be right, I knew all of it, but I was still worried about it being my wants showing through.

First are the things you saw that were significant with your father things that you would normally think of when you thought of him? Aka the first thing that popped in your head when you thought fondly of him? You could also say I really really hope that it is you but you need to understand that I want to make sure it's not my wishful thinking that it is you. Ask him to talk to you more and maybe do some more to verify it. Have him come talk to you in a dream, put like a ball or marble in your room and draw a circle around it and ask him to move it (put it somewhere that it wont get bumped and give him time. This is all new to him it sounds like) Or something light that he can push or what ever. Ask him to knock on a wall or flash a moment that was significant to his life that you didn't know but would be able to verify it was his memory. Something like that. It might take time to get these responses but effort is usually something in a situation like this that they're willing to do.

Thank you Rattissia. I will talk to him more for sure. I'm not sure if that memory would immediately pop into my head or not. Lake Michigan, Green Bay to be exact, was a good memory. A great Uncle had a cabin on the Lake and my mom's whole family went every summer. I was probably 5 when the motorboat trip happened. We rode across the lake to great Uncle's mother's and she had made the most delicious cinnamon bread. I'll try to get him to give me something a little more obscure. The marble thing sounds like a good idea, but with the dogs it would not stay put. I'll think of something. I'm glad you know why I am uncertain.

Was it an inner contact with Emily and Robert or was it 'face to face real time'? In inner work you have to trust what comes. It it came to you then it was real. To second guess your experience will just drive you in circles.

Hi Babs. It is always inner contact. This is so new to me. I have a shadow from time to time, but since I unblocked my mind, I have had thoughts and thought words. Flashes of images. In my heart, I know it's real, but my mind says different. I will verify it, I just have to figure out the best way. Thanks Babs.

Babs, you're so sweet, Thank you! I asked him to understand my dilemma and asked him to move something for me. I put a very light silver signet ring in two circles on a piece of paper. It hasn't moved yet. But yesterday this happened. I have had a penny in my drawer for years. I pulled it out and set it my dresser. I went to my Mom's and my son went somewhere. When I got home and started dishes, there was the penny on the counter under a dish towel. I put it back on my dresser and told whoever moved it to do it again if they would. We'll see what happens.

Right before I got up this morning I heard my name whispered loud and clear.
